Editor's Bit

Are you sick of opening magazine, after magazine, flicking through the colorful pages, then discovering that all it is, is a few stapled pages of complete trash! Fashion "ins and outs" (that always leave you feeling deflated when you hear that your whole wardrobe is "sad" and "out") , how to flirt well (as if we care?) , how to get smoky eyes (oh pul-eeze) and how to diet properly, followed by that ever popular column on eating disorders. Aren't they "oh-so similar" every issue?

Are you looking for a magazine with the same eye-catching appeal, but with REAL interesting articles on food, heroines, music, the earth, technology, and other important stuff. Not just a life-guide to looking good and attracting the opposite sex?

Fed up of similar e-zines with advice columns, embarassing stories, eating disorders articles and stuff that every e-zine on the net is writing about?

"Free Spirit" is a zine for wised-up riotgrrls, geekgirls, lemons, hippichicks, individuals, sk8ter chics and other sorts. You can read it and you will enjoy it, as long as you don't want what every other (or nearly every other) zine offers you!

It doesn't survive on reader contributions, because that often doesn't work, and as an editor I want to become involved and write things myself. I like to have other people helping out, but this is a 'zine with a difference! I hope you enjoy this quirky, stylish and different zine on the net, and might like to help out, or at least tell me what you think!
